Membership
If you want to connect with the network, you can sign-up for our newsletter to receive news, updates and useful nature connection information and links.
If you would like to be actively involved in the network, you can apply to become a member to join the community.
Membership of the network is for individuals and organisations whose professional work is focused on supporting people's psychological connection with nature, and who wish to play an active part in the network activities. The network currently meets online three times a year, with ‘nodes’ (thematic sub-groups) meeting periodically. A members area of the website supports opportunities for networking and sharing details of nature connection initiatives between members.
Ways of Working
A collaborative approach
The network is just that, a forum to bring people working towards nature connection together to support and further each other’s work. The NCN aims to provide members the opportunity to build relationships and coalitions they are responsible for in order to help members work towards the vision of a happier and more fulfilled society with a thriving natural environment, forged through closer relationships with nature.
By members,
for members
As far as practicable, networking opportunities will be run by members, for members, such that meetings, workshops, and sharing are facilitated by the members.
Commitment to evidence-based practices
All activities, initiatives, and recommendations shall be rooted in evidence and research on nature connection. This ensures that our work remains focussed, credible, and impactful.
